Happy Hips

Increasing the range of motion in our hips offers two main benefits: improved health of hip joints, and reduced strain on the lower back. However, hip opening postures have benefits that go beyond these. It also improve circulation in the legs, and improve the way we run and walk. Hip opening postures can also release stress and negative emotional memories, which may be stored in the hips on an energetic level. You’ll leave the workshop feeling freer, lighter and happier.

Free Your Shoulders

This workshop is devoted to understanding the health and function of the shoulder girdle, improving posture, releasing and neck shoulder tension. We will examine the movement of arms and shoulder, as well as discuss common shoulder injuries and how to build up the strength and flexibility to prevent or release it so you can move more comfortably.

Core and Breathing

The core is the foundation of all body movements. It stabilises and supports your spine and allows the body to move with freedom. A strong core will reduce injuries, strengthen your back, improve posture, increase balance, stability and will even aid in digestion. We will begin with diaphragm breathing and pelvic floor exercises to help us reconnect to our deep core muscles. We will also practice and experience how a stable core deepens your yoga practice.
